The New Alternative CDL Preparatory Training Program

Welcome to The New Alternative CDL (Commercial Drivers License) Preparatory Program, a not for profit agency. Our goal is to offer a wide range of driver services and be a one-stop facility for all driver needs. We offer training, help with registration and licensing. We offer private and commercial CDL driver education in the Chicago, Illinois area.

New Alternative CDL Preparatory Training Program is designed to reach low income or unemployed men and women and prepare our students for job opportunities in the transportation industry.

At New Alternative CDL Preparatory Training Program we hire trained and certified instructors who provide all the teaching services. Our instructors have over 25 years of experience each. We have a fleet of trucks and computer simulators that are used in our training. Through a series of classroom sessions and field sessions with instructors we are able to train our students in the safe operation of today’s commercial transportation vehicles.

The training not only prepares our students for safe operation of class B buses, trucks, tankers and hazardous materials, but also educates them in job readiness, resume preparation and mock interviews.
